Deactivate all mods, start up Skyrim and load my save. (So no quicksave, autosave or overwrite). Save my game by creating a new file and shutting the game down. Dismiss all followers and move to an interior cell. I haven't even used 1/3 of a 250 gig hard drive. But attempting to create a clean save appears to corrupt my save instead, provoking many CTDs. I can only assume you didn't Mod before Its not that much for each file but if you save as much as me and it all builds up it might become an issue for profomance, maybe idk, but it makes everything a whole lot more orginized.
